Our address Clift House Road, Southville, Bristol, BS3 1RX. Please see our 'How to get to Riverside' page for more information on routes by foot, public transport or car.

Are you within the Bristol Clean Air Zone?

On the 28th November 2022, Bristol City Council introduced a 'Clean Air Zone' (CAZ) to the city. Riverside is just within the zone.

The council estimates that more than 70% of vehicles are compliant with the CAZ emissions requirements, but this still means that some customers using older vehicles may have to pay a charge when visiting us as we are within the zone. The ‘Clean Air for Bristol’ (CAB) website tells you all you need to know about the scheme including a vehicle checker which you can use to find out if your vehicle is compliant or not. If not, then you will need to pay a charge of £9 for each day that you enter the CAZ.

Find out more on the Bristol City Council Website with a map of the zone and vehicle checker.

Have there been any updates with the road closure campaign?

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Harbour Hopes engagement during the autumn 2021 and left messages of support for Riverside. This was given special mention in the engagement report (pages 10 & 11) which will be key to the next stage of planning for the area. We really appreciate you taking the time to become involved, and we will keep you fully informed as the next phase of the process unfolds during the early part of next year.

See our most recent post for how this report affects Riverside.

Progress of the Western Harbour masterplan was recently writtemn about in a Bristol Post article (7 Feb 2023): Bristol council wants £5.6m to progress Western Harbour project
